The temporary fee waiver for permit applications has expired as of April 14, 2025. As a result of the Fee Waiver Resolution, $16,122.56 in permit dollars were waived for repairs related to structural damage caused by Hurricane Milton and related severe weather.
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) has
approved a temporary waiver of building permit fees for property owners
in unincorporated Palm Beach County affected by Hurricane Milton and
associated severe weather.
This waiver covers building permit fees for repairs related to
structural damage caused by the hurricane and related severe weather,
providing financial relief to those facing hurricane-related hardships.
The waiver applies to permit applications submitted to the County's
Building Division from October 14, 2024 – April 14, 2025, unless
extended by the BCC.
