At the Board of County Commissioners Meeting on June 3, 2025, Mayor Marino presented a proclamation declaring June 17, 2025, as Dump the Pump Day. The American Public Transportation Association brings together hundreds of transit providers each year to raise awareness and encourage everyone to “dump the pump.” Palm Tran, working closely with the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency, provides 29,000 rides daily and encourages everyone to use the promo code “Transit2025” in the Paradise Pass app from June 15 to 21 to ride for free.
