July is National Park and Recreation Month, a nationwide celebration since 1985 that honors the vital role parks and recreation play in building strong, vibrant and resilient communities.

Throughout the month, the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and Palm Beach County Golf invite residents to join a fun and engaging community sticker campaign. From July 1 through 31, when playing or practicing at any of the county-owned golf facilities — Osprey Point, Okeeheelee, Park Ridge and John Prince Golf Learning Center — stop by a pro shop to pick up a free campaign sticker. (Please note: Southwinds Golf Course is currently closed for renovations.)

Watch the campaign promo video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=105Dhfy5-7E), or follow the steps below to join in on the fun.

How to participate:

  1. Snap a photo of yourself or group wearing the sticker.
  2. Post it publicly on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtags #BuildTogetherPlayTogether and #pbcgolf.
  3. Tag Palm Beach County Golf (on Facebook) or @pbcgolf (on Instagram).

Each week throughout July, one lucky participant will win a PBC Golf Swag Bag!

For any questions about the campaign, please contact Parks Coordinator Tevin Ali at tali@pbc.gov.

Enjoy a visit to one of the facilities in July and celebrate the power of parks and recreation in our community!
