As you observe National Relaxation Day, here are a few ideas you can use year round.
Daily 10 minute breaks:
- Take a quick, brisk walk around the building where you are
 - Give yourself a foot massage
 - Work on a crossword or mind-stretching puzzle
 - Use crayons or markers and draw a masterpiece
 
Weekly or over your lunch hour – 30 minute joy breaks
- Take a longer, more leisurely walk
 - Pull out a map or planner and plan your dream vacation
 - Write a personal letter to a distant friend or family member
 - Completely empty your desk and refill it with joys and toys
